Purpose and Scope
As Enderpen, in all processes we carry out in accordance with our strategy, we aim to reduce the burden of energy costs on the economy and protect the environment by increasing the efficiency of energy sources and energy use, considering sustainability and social responsibility criteria, and in compliance with the requirements of the EN ISO 50001 Energy Management System.
Policy Commitments
- In line with our organization’s purpose, we aim to lead the PVC sector in the efficient use of energy and reduction of environmental impacts, ensuring the continuity of this process.
- To maximize energy efficiency, advanced technologies are used in our production processes, and measures are taken to reduce energy consumption. Enderpen converts its energy consumption into green energy using solar energy systems (SES) in its production facilities. Our energy management strategies aim to increase energy savings on our production lines and create a more sustainable production process. In this way, we optimize our energy use and reduce our environmental impact.
- Our company is committed to providing a framework for the establishment and review of energy targets, and ensuring access to necessary information, resources, and support for achieving these goals.
- In order to prevent disruptions due to potential increases in energy costs and consumption, we aim to evaluate not only procurement costs but also the life-cycle costs in new projects and renovation works, and to ensure the preference of financially viable, efficient devices and systems.
- We aim to raise awareness of energy efficiency among all our employees in relevant departments by providing necessary training and information, thereby reducing losses and ensuring energy efficiency.
- We aim to develop an energy culture and energy efficiency awareness across our organization and affiliated companies and engage in motivating activities in this regard. We are committed to following the policies and strategies set for energy efficiency and environment-energy fields, and to working towards and coordinating their implementation.
- We prioritize and value the use of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly services and advanced technologies from the design phase to the production process.
- We aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our operations and products, continue energy efficiency projects, and ensure the sustainability of designs and activities that will increase the use of renewable energy sources.
- In line with the concept of sustainable development, we aim to support the common denominator of "sustainability" in economic and social development goals; reduce the impacts of climate change, and address issues such as biodiversity that will affect future generations, by protecting the ecosystem through action plans for risks and opportunities.
We are committed to ensuring that our Energy Management System (EnYS) policy is understood and adopted by our employees and all stakeholders; increasing the responsibility awareness of our stakeholders regarding energy consumption and efficient use, as a primary objective of this policy.
