Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that Enderpen community operates without harming people or the environment, performing work with no loss or accidents, and continuously supporting the laws and regulations related to the work conditions for "Occupational Health and Safety." Protecting the workforce, which is a basic human right socially and an inevitable necessity economically, is the fundamental condition for human and societal happiness.
This policy covers all Enderpen and affiliated company employees, subcontractor/supplier company employees, and visitors.
Objective
Our goal in occupational health and safety practices is to protect employees by taking adequate security measures in the workplaces of Enderpen and our affiliated companies. Our objectives are to maximize employees' medical, physical, and mental well-being, eliminate harmful factors in the workplace environment through hygienic measures, ensure harmony between employees and their work, identify health damages and occupational diseases, ensure that employees receive treatment, objectively and scientifically determine and evaluate the extent of damages, ensure workplace safety, and prevent possible accidents, thereby improving productivity.
Responsibilities
Employees at Enderpen workplace and its extensions, subcontractor/supplier company employees, and visitors are responsible for adhering to this policy. Everyone is required to take the necessary actions within their authority to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
Policy Commitments
The aim is to implement occupational health and safety practices in accordance with the legal regulations and changing conditions, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards, and continuously improving employee performance. At Enderpen workplace and its extensions, measures should be taken to protect the health and safety of employees, subcontractors/suppliers, visitors, and company personnel working outside the workplace, in compliance with the applicable Occupational Health and Safety regulations and other requirements related to occupational health and safety. Necessary tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment should be provided, and their use should be ensured when needed.
With the rapid development of industry and technology and the opening of new job fields, our main goal is to prevent threats to employee health and safety by taking adequate precautions. We aim to protect the health of employees from various risks arising from the technical equipment and working conditions in the workplace. Training programs are organized for all employees on occupational health and safety during their job induction and at regular intervals during their employment, and a training participation certificate is issued for each employee after the training.
Our goal is to regularly review our occupational health and safety systems and practices with a human-centered approach of “All accidents and occupational diseases are preventable,” and to raise awareness among our employees in this regard to achieve our goal of zero workplace accidents and zero occupational diseases. This approach, which focuses on preventing and detecting potential risks and crises early during workplace activities, aims to minimize crises with measures such as risk analysis, continuous improvement, and training. Potential crises are identified through risk analysis, risks are minimized, and potential crises are prevented.
Employees’ Right to Work Safety
The right to work safety for employees is a reflection of the universally recognized right to life, bodily integrity, and health in the workplace. In line with industrialization and technological developments in the world and Turkey, necessary precautions are taken in advance to prevent safety issues concerning the employees working in our workplace.
Review
In this regard, we commit to ensuring the continuity of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System with periodic goals and reviews, and we declare it as our Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
